Sound Familiar?

Great in the practice room. Gone under the lights.

Stage fright isn't a talent issue. It's a preparation issue — and preparation can be systematized.

Nerves take over

Shaky voice, racing heart, shallow breath the moment eyes are on you. The work you did in rehearsal is still in there — but under pressure, your body defaults to panic instead of process. Because there's no process to default to.

Auditions feel like a coin flip

Some days you nail it. Some days you don't recognize your own voice. When your performance depends on how you happen to feel that day, you're relying on luck — and casting panels can hear it.

Performing at people, not with them

Technically correct but emotionally flat. You're so busy managing nerves and mechanics that there's nothing left over to actually connect with the audience — and connection is the whole job.

You don't wait for confidence. You build the system that produces it — then trust the system every time you step on stage.

Inside the Method

One framework. Every performance.

A step-by-step system that turns seven scattered skills into a single repeatable process — built on the bel canto, acting, and performance techniques Megan has taught for over 20 years.

01

Vocal Technique & Breath Awareness

The physical foundation. Anchor your voice in steady breath and reliable technique so it holds up when adrenaline hits — because a voice you can trust is the first ingredient of confidence you can trust.

02

Authentic Acting & Connection

Stop performing at your audience. Learn to act from truth instead of imitation, communicate the story behind every phrase, and build the genuine connection that makes people lean in.

03

Diction & Body Language

What you say and what your body says have to agree. Train clear, effortless diction and stage presence that reads as grounded and open — so your physical performance supports your voice instead of fighting it.

04

Mindset & Performance Preparation

The repeatable pre-performance process. Build the mental framework and preparation routine that carries you through auditions, shows, and high-pressure moments — the same way, every time, no luck required.

What Students Say

Teaching that actually changes the performer.

I've been a student of Megan's for about 6 months and I've seen SUCH strides in my progress — and after 20+ years of voice study, that's saying something! A wonderful person, a giving teacher, and worth every cent.

Andrea
Student

I am a semi-professional opera singer — twenty years in the LA classical scene, with plenty of teachers and coaches. I have never met anyone who has more incandescent joy of music, or who shares it more willingly, than Megan Gillespie. A true gem and a great teacher.

Tom
Semi-Professional Opera Singer

Without a doubt the best vocal teacher I've ever worked with. She meets you exactly where you're at and gives targeted feedback to reach your goals. Working with Megan has improved my confidence vocally and in my personal life too.

Gigi
Student

Analise has gained a larger range, better tone, pitch and breath control, performance and microphone technique, and a lot of self-confidence. Megan always knows Analise's goals and follows her contests.

Carmen
Parent

My weekly lessons with Megan are one of the highlights of my week. She is incredibly patient and compassionate, and her lessons are as much about appreciating the process as achieving the goal.

Anita
Student

Ms. Megan is seriously the best! She has helped me grow so much as a singer and performer, and she's always encouraging, positive, and genuinely cares about her students.

Questions

Before you ask.

Yes — performers who fall apart under pressure are exactly who this method was built for. Stage fright thrives when there's no process to fall back on. The method gives you a repeatable framework, so under pressure your body defaults to preparation instead of panic.

Because practice and performance are different skills. Rehearsal builds the material; the method builds the delivery system — mindset, preparation routine, breath, and body language — so what you do in the practice room shows up in the audition room, every time.

Any style. Musical theater, pop, classical, worship, spoken performance — the mechanics of confident performance are the same. Megan teaches from a bel canto and classical acting foundation because it's the most reliable path to consistency in every genre.

Forever. One payment gets you lifetime access to every lesson, on any device, plus any future updates to the method.

No. Just yourself and a place to practice. The method is body-based and mindset-based — no apps, no gear, no prior training required. Beginners and working professionals work through the same fundamentals.

Ready?

Stop hoping. Start trusting yourself.

Talent got you this far. A system takes you the rest of the way — on stage, in auditions, and everywhere you perform.
